Composite Dentistry Course this Friday

Our final program of the year, “Paradigm Shift in Direct Composite Dentistry” with Dr. Dr. Jihyon Kim, will be held Friday March 14 from 8-12, 1-3 in the Marriott Riverfront in South Sioux City.

Course Description: Advances in adhesive materials and composite resins have dramatically expanded the possibilities with direct dentistry. The ability to preserve more tooth structure with additive methods greatly expands treatment algorithms ultimately impacting decisions regarding tooth restorability, life span, and space management. On the horizon is a paradigm shift changing foundational practices and thoughts on comprehensive rehabilitations. 

Objectives: At the end of the course, participants should have a better understanding of:

  • Advances in adhesive materials and composite resins
  • Methods to preserve tooth structure with addative techniques
  • Changing principles in comprehensive rehabilitations

Bio: Dr. Jihyon Kim, a 1999 graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, is an accomplished dentist with a focus on occlusion and adhesive dentistry. She received advanced training from esteemed institutions such as Dawson Academy, Kois Center, and Spear Education. Currently practicing full-time, Dr. Kim teaches hands-on courses in biomimetic dentistry and is the Director of
the Institute of Injection Overmolding in Seattle. Renowned for her expertise, she has published articles, lectured extensively, and is dedicated to providing an advanced, intuitive, and intimate learning experience in restorative dentistry.
