Speaker: Dr. Leif K. Bakland
Dr. Bakland has been involved in teaching, research and professional publications for over 30 years, as well as provided leadership to many professional organizations. Since 1976, he has been a full-time faculty member in the department of endodontics at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry where he currently serves as professor and chair. He has lectured extensively worldwide and authored or co-authored more than 60 publications. He is the co-editor of the fourth, fifth and sixth editions of Ingle’s Endodontics, and the first and second editions of Traumatic Dental Injuries. He is an associate editor of Dental Traumatology.
As an active member of several organizations, he has served in many capacities such as secretary for the AAE Board of Directors, past president and past director of the American Board of Endodontics, founding member, past president and past director of the College of Diplomates of the ABE, and is the current executive director of the International Association of Dental Traumatology.
